About Me
I grew up in Spokane Valley playing baseball through high school, where I experienced an injury. I then went to Physical Therapy only to receive a low standard of care that did not prepare me for returning to play baseball at high intensity. Due to this, I was ill-prepared to return and experienced re-injury.
Afterwards, I attended Eastern Washington University receiving my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, as well as a Master’s in Science of Athletic Training, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I also am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. During my time at EWU, I have spent over 1,000 hours working with D1 athletes in all different settings spanning from injury prevention protocols, to on field injury management, in-clinic rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.
Throughout my education my passion has always been rehabilitation and performance for the baseball and softball athletes. Unfortunately, most clinicians lack the specific knowledge that is needed to return an athlete to the demands of such a specialized sport.
On my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and cat, as well as fishing and hiking around the greater Spokane area. I also enjoy playing almost any sport, and generally living an active lifestyle.
